I would do the lift and the gears in your 10 day leave. That way you can sort those out, and they don't need a tune just to drive.

Then slowly work on the motor as when your in Military A school you have very little time to have a problem. To assemble, install, and tune a completely new set up can itself be challenging in your time frame. Any problem will be devistating when you have NO local suplliers. So I would just rock the stocker till you get a proper 30 day leave.

Enjoy your time off. A-school as we called it in the Navy was fast, long, and impossable to learn with all the yelling they still do. You'll spend 8 hours in school plus 3-5 hours a night doing homework. Ask your recruiter your in for a few months of long days and nights.

It took me 3-4 days to slap a lift on by myself, then I had to run around in without a front shaft for a few weeks till I got my exhaust reworked and a new front drive shaft (u-joints were binding and snaped the stock one). I would do one or the other, one mistake could cost you a day or two.
