well I'll be home soon and i ordered pacesetter headers and offroad y-pipe. I also have wayne angle block o2 sensor cel standoffs. what are some thoughts and concerns that i should have?

As far as what? Install- For me it wasnt too bad, just take your time. Performance- I noticed immediate gains everywhere in the powerband. After tuning the truck was alot quicker. Sound- Is just amazing, I run open Y so it is a very agressive sound, surprisingly no rasp. Just very loud

well some of it was about the install and part was the sound.... I am just worried about the o2 sensor reaching the o2 bung on the long tube headers and hope the angle blocks stop the cel from coming up

I just pulled out the piston slap happy 4.8 and going with a forged 5.7 with headers. The wires for the O2 sensors seem pretty long so should not be a problem.
I tried a set of Dyanmaxx LS1 F body headers, but Nodda fit ! No way....
I want Kooks, but prolly go with the ebay specials.

the 02 sensor wires are long enough they reach the 02 bungs on the long tube. the passenger side was a bit of a hassle for me since the bung hole is on top of the collector and you have to nudge the sensor between the longtube and the cab. the drivers side bung is easy since its on the side of the longtube.
i did mine solo and cracked one spark plug putting them on.
dont know about the angle blockers, never heard anyone using them here. most just get the cel tuned out.
regardless of the angle blockers, the longtubes only have two o2 bungs while your truck has 4 o2 sensors. iirc you only use the front two sensors.

My o2 wires were plenty long. You shouldnt have any issues
Idk about those cel blockers either. Get a tune and you will get more power out of the headers plus it will rid that cel

well i will be pulling the plugs to put som e3's in i'll do both at the same time. the angle blocks are to keep the o2 out of the exhaust stream but they still read..... as for the tune i am tryiing to find some where to do it for me but around where i live i wouldn't trust anyone with a stone no less my trucks ecu. i do have the bullydog but i don't know how much thats going to help.
