Just order a complete bearing set with the ring and pinion set and Truetrac. And have a reputable shop do the whole job. I ordered everything at 4WheelParts. I'm lucky since I have a location locally but their good to deal with online too.

Ring and pinion are the gears themselves, the spider gears are inside the differential carrier and turn the axles with the ring gear, the carrier beatings on on the sides of the carrier under the caps, axle bearings are at end of the axle tubes pinion bearings inner and out are on pinion gear shaft, which the pinion yoke attaches to....which attaches to the drive shaft through the u joint....

You wont need worry about spider gears if you're getting a TrueTrac. That's an entire new differential so it'll replace all of that. the ring gear just gets bolted to it and in it goes.

You'll love the trutrac, best LS rear for the money. I have had them in 3 other vehicles as well as my 07 Tahoe.

You'll need a master rebuild kit for a GM 10 bolt, make sure you find one specific to your year. I think they vary in years so you if you buy one not specific you may be missing some parts.
I'd also find a 4x4 shop to do the work.
Good luck and good luck with the swap to, I'm looking to do the same with my Tahoe, 5.3 to 6.0 bored out to a 6.2

I agree with Mike, that is why I said find a 4x4 shop.
Find some shady shop, get shady work.
You definitely get what you pay for and you don't want to mess with your rear end. Unless you have experience working on them.
