I realize the Lobes are fine but wouldn't want to go over 575 lift spec of the spring.

DAMN!! he might be a pro old school guy but that aint gonna be pretty on an LSx lol.

if you are wanting to stay within the ls6 springs my truck runs pretty solid with them and my cam (in sig) it has been running that way for around 25,000 miles no problems from springs or cam.

Based on the Lifts available as a custom grind on Texas Speeds website i'm leaning toward

216/222 561/566 109LSA 108ICL
Wanting to go with the Circle D 3200 so would that work or should i move down a bit to
214/220 559/564

Gears are the best things to for a 4.8L. 4.56 or 4.88's are perfect and great for towing.

I wouldnt go so big with the cam. Maybe the smaller 219 thumper. Tr220 112 cam would be biggest I would go.

If towing and tb converter is mandatory, the cc 206 212 112 cam would be best

First off Incase you guys didn't know Everyone is a proffesional these days...

I like what your spec ing for him for a cam but if he is gonna tow and be more of a dd I would go with a lower stall 2600-2800

Gears would help too!

I tow with my Circle D stall and it's tight enough that it works great. I'm recommending one for him.
Tow'd my boat 19ft ski boat to a lake 175 miles away a few weeks ago and it was great.

that cam is going to have +1* of overlap, which is the same as mine... I hope you plan on spinning that thing to the moon...

I just installed my circle D 2600-2800 and so far so good. Haven't had a chance to tow with it yet. I spoke to some one else the other day who put a 3200 circle d and he said it was a bit much around town.
