4.8 kills 6.0

4.8 kills 6.0
OK
My buddy has a stock 6.0 with 4.10s
I have a 4.8 with 3.73s ,UPD ,Corsa,TR55s,bypass TB
Every time we race I kick him by a truck and 1/2,even from a dead stop or a 30mph roll.
Im wondering what is up with this.I wouldnt think my parts would still equal to his 6.0 to my 4.8 or should it?
Any thoughts on this?

I think its disrespectfull to put down other people because of what motor they have, and frankley.. its pissing me off.
There can be many reasons people have the 4.8, and maybe they didnt buy it new from a dealership, and found a good deal from a private seller. Either way, you shouldn't put people down for what they have.

It could be that his buddy has a crew cab HD that weighs alot vs. his 4.8 single cab truck. Maybe his bolt-ons plus the weight disadvantage is making the single cab win.
