Default 4.8 Which exhaust???

I have 06 crew cab and was wanting to make it a little louder. Should I just put a flowmaster on it or buy a catback?

Catback. If you don't wanna spend the $$, just weld in a muffler like you said. But please, choose something other than the brand you've listed. May I recommend Magnaflow, Hooker (aerochamber), or Borla?

Am I missing something here. Your the title of your thread is 4.8 exhaust but you drive a crew cab. Did they start putting the 4.8's in the crew cabs? If so, when? I know that when I had my 04, the only thing available was the 5.3

I would buy a catback, just replace a muffler, like stated above try something else besides a flowmaster.... borla, hooker, magnaflow, even a bullet sounds a whole lot better!!

so they started putting 4.8's in crew cabs now???

If you are not looking for all out performance, I would just install a muffler. Hooker seems to be the popular choice lately. Even Magnaflow may sound pretty good.

Why are dynomax bullets so expensive? Are they stainless steel? My bullets are aluminized and they were 20 dollars canadian each!

I was looking at the magnaflow catback but the price is a little more than I am wanting to spend.
