Default 4.8 build started

i know all of you are probably getting tired of me but id like some suggestions, i picked up a 4.8/5.3 block from work for free, i had it bored .030 over, now i need some reccomendations on i guess the whole rotating assembly?

go with a longer crank. Might as well make it a stroker too

yea thats what i was thinking, i thought about the ls1 crank, but what about a 4" and who makes good cranks for this application and once that crank is decided what heads should i run

ok i think ive decided to go ahead and go with a 4" stroke crank, who should i buy from?

if i go 383 then i need to increase my bore to 3.898 correct? with a 4" crank i believe, i can take it back and have machined on again thats fine, but if i do so i need some help on who to buy the crank from and a link would be nice on it, also i will need everything else after that any reccommendations?

thanks so basically i can go with a ls1 4" crank, idk too much on crankshaft pricing but are these good prices? and if anyone knows of better prices it would be appreciated, also ive made my mind up to take it back and go ahead and having it done to 3.898" i am going to go with a 4" crank, and now just buy everything else ls1?

that 383 will be a torquey SOB. Should be tons of info on ls1tech about 383s
