theres a steel crank I was gonna buy. Its 650 bux but it beats the 1k+ for the aluminum cranks from TSP and everywhere else.

yea they school the **** out of my *** every time, thanks for the info about the steel crank, if i do all this right will it be a reliable motor? o and which reluctor wheel do ineed to go with to put in the Sierra?

I think that crank is for the old school small block Chevy's.

I think you would have to step up to this crank if you want a forged crank.

damn im starting to look into all this and building a 6.0 is cheaper and easier, i may just leave the .030 over and rebuild it and get a 6.0

you would have came out a lot cheaper and alot stronger if you had went with the 6.0 thats why I try to tell everyone that is going to mod just to get a 6.0 and start from there a .030 over bore and your at 370 just through some forged pistons and some h beam rods you are good to go.
