We had a big event at the track today called Street Wars. Only street legal cars/trucks were allowed to compete. At the start of elims there were 150 cars. I ended up working my way up the ranks and ended up getting 3rd! I was so pumped. I had a lot of close races so I was really proud of my truck. The guy that beat me in the semis wasn't exactly street legal but passed all the criteria so they didn't dq him. He ended up 2nd place but check out the guy that won it all... an Escort! I talk to this guy a lot at the track and he is really cool. He even bought us dinner at Hooters afterward. I am glad he won over the other guy. I wish it would have been me but I am happy with 3rd. My prize was $50, a die cast funny car and a trophy. Here are some pics:

On the night I took the GMC to the track I didn't want to race with all the street-tire newbies and other slow cars, so I entered the Sportsman class at HRP (the class my car usually runs in) and was up against 9-11 second dragslick wearing trailer cars. LOL! I got second place because I redlighted <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
