whats plans for truck? with the mods you have listed, they wouldnt be the first mods for my choice for that truck

Forgot to post full mods going in.
Transmission- 3200 single disk- trans go hd-2 shift kit

Engine- arp head bolts- ls7 lifters- ls9 head gaskets- 317 heads milled .030 with BTR dual springs with titanium retainers- BTR trunion upgrade- kateck timing chain- ls6 ported oil pump from texas speed. I think that's it. Tuning will be done by JRX tuning. He is coming to my friends shop and tuning a few trucks while he is done.

for a NA setup there is no reason to use the Ls9 gaskets, milling the heads then using gaskets would be counter productive as the ls9s drop compression as they are thicker

I'm using the ls9 gaskets because I don't plan on staying NA for too long maybe nitrous in a few months

Nitrous likes all the compression you can throw at it Plus the motor will be more efficient with higher CR while not putting on the juice. Imo, there are options that are as good that doesn't lower CR... js.

Yeah I know.. If I wanted to go all out I would have gotten different heads and a different cam.. nitrous I still a question as I might not even do it I will still have the mls gaskets their if I want too later on. Just having fun with it fellas
