Eaton makes the differential/carrier, AAM (American Axle) makes the gears. That's probably the most popular combination out there, and yes, the AAM gears are very quiet.

according to a local place AAM are known to be quiet, there are a couple of other options as well. might give them a call, ask for jeff, Mechanically Inclined Technicians
