Default 3.73's COST?

I have 3.42's no posi and I would like some 3.73's with posi. Could you give me some advice on which ones to get. I was thinking about just going to the chevy dealership but they would charge alot. My dad can install them for me just need to know where to get them from and which ones to get.

Summit racing. 169.95 for Richmond gears. About 550.00 for eaton limited slip. Hope this helps.

Uh, the Eaton LSD you can get for $350-$375....don't know where the $500 figure comes from.

And although Richmond gears are fine, consider the OEM gearset from AAM, strong and quiet. Worth the $20 more or whatever they cost extra IMO.

Call Randy's Ring and Pinion in Washington State for prices.

New summit cat. page 192 has the eaton for 549.95. Could be misprint. Sounded high to me too.

thanks for the help. I'll give summit or jegs a call. So i'm looking around 600 bucks. What about a stall convertor? about 2400 or 2600 stall is that about right? I love this website

2400-2600 would be fine. T.C.I. has a good one.......Break-a-way, with your desired stall speed. Here are the #'s TCI-242938.....$489.95

IMO go with a 3000 stall. I love mine, When you call they might say that the gears are for a 8.5 rearend and yours is a 8.6, Just tell them you want them any ways. They will work.

I paid $200 for OEM gears which is what you want if you want them quiet. Eaton's go for about $350 if you look around.
