Default 28" two core radiators

I have to stick with a 28" radiator on my truck but would like some more cooling.

Do 2 core radiators perform a lot better than single core, like my stock radiator? I have found direct replacement 2 core radiators and need to know if it is worth it.

as long as the fans are pulling enough air to cool the amount of water off it will be fine. i am also looking at the 28" 2 core radiator. keep me posted if you do it.
