When I bought the truck a year ago, it came with a Flowmaster setup dumped before the axle. Someone was lazy...

After moving half way across the country towing my toy hauler, I've had enough of the drone and in cab noise.

This past weekend I went to the local junk yard and picked up a stock exhaust for the tail pipe section and ordered up a Flo Pro 2506.

From the reviews I should have a good system with no drone! Will also be nice to have the exhaust not dumping down on the axle while towing.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

 

On my ss I had a magnaflow dumped and it didn't drone too bad, until I added the tail pipe back on, now its terrible, but the flo pro should be great, i'm putting a stock duramax muffler on mine with a cut out this weekend hopefully.

 

Put 10K behind it and it will start making noise...



I've heard of some guys using Dmax mufflers but that requires more then just a stock replacement muffler on the 60/8.1s due to the dual pipes going to the muffler.

 

Exhaust is done. The 2506 is dead quite inside the truck. There is a slight rumble outside on the passenger side of the truck. I kind of wish I would have gone with the 2504 for a tad bit more sound. But at the end of the day the DRONE is gone and that is really what I was after.
