with the 57cc chambers, what was your final CR and what thickness head gaskets did you use?

I have some LS2 243 heads, that i want to swap on along with an MTI Stealth cam that is 220/220 .581/.581 on a 115 LSA, and would like to have around 10.5:1 CR and get a tune. And i know a 59cc will give you around 9.8:1 CR.

mill them .040 and run a .040 cometic gasket... double check your pushrods and you'll be good...

I actually sold those and bought some PRC satge 2.5s, that I put on this weekend. they were milled .045 giving me a 57cc chamber and I was told to use 7.35" pushrods, and a .040 5.7 gasket. My CR is 10.53:1-SCD and a 8.22:1 DCR.

I'm trying to fine some used 8.1 injectors or some other injectors so I can get it tuned in. right now its on the stock injectors.

I'm pretty sure he's saying that with consideration of the bore size.

As far as I am aware, there should not be a problem using 5.7 gaskets on a 5.3. There would be a minimal increase in combustion chamber volume though.
