Default muffler suggestions

well, i love the sound of this exhaust now, but damn its getting annoying on the way to work. ( 35 miles) i have dual 2.5" flowbastards on there now....i am looking for something quieter at low rpms and not so raspy, but still sound badass at WOT....

i am sure this question has been posed before, but all the threads before this year have been removed. any suggestions?

or if you have some used mufflers that aint so damn loud, let me know.

thanks

a big case magnaflow will quiet it down and get the job done performance wise.

Lose the duals, especially on a 4.8, you don't have the displacement to support that much exhaust volume....... 2.5 to 3.0 single will work great!!! I like magnaflow for mufflers, quiet at idle and cruise, screams at WOT...

thats what i was fingerin. these flows are loud as hell ALL the time, i would rather it just have that sound at WOT instead of the entire range. its gettin old quickly, the old lady HATES it. she wont ride in it anymore.....so i guess its not ALL bad

I love my Corsa Sport cat-back. Quite at highway speeds, loud as hell at WOT Not raspy at all, and no drone in the cab. I would buy this system again.

I would agree with the Corsa but since you already have true duals and probably wouldn't want to change, get the Magnaflows in a 18" or 24" case depending on how loud you want it or I've been looking into the Edelbrock SDTs too and they have an old school muscle car sound to them.
