Default 222/224 cam too big for 3000?

I found a deal on the comp 222/224 112lsa cam and I'm curious if it's too big for my converter? I don't want to lose a ton of low end by the cam being too big, but I want it too pull to 6400-6500. I've also been looking at the tsp220, would that be a better choice? My heads are being ported/polished/milled so they should flow enough for either cam.

similar to mine, and its advertized as stage 1. 3K is a good converter.
