20's vs stock 16's
#3
My truck is 3 tenths faster with the stock wheels compared to my 20's. I think a lot of that has to do with gear ratio since my 20's are 285/50/20's and are 31.2 inches tall comared to 29 inches tall for my stock tires.

I was running german made import style 20's
Looked awesome, crunstructed well but weighed around 70-74lbs.
The combination of the 275 gtII and heavier wheels showed 3-4/10's slower times.
If you go with 20's I would go with the lighter brands made for trucks
Centerline, Boyd, Intro, weld.

look at the braking difference on the suburban (look around for their truck upgrades)
whatever is harder to stop is harder to accelerate
