Right now I'm at a 100 shot and have the Nitrous Outlet Plate kit. Next year I'm going to try to pull some weight off the truck which should be pretty easy. Then after I play with the 100 shot I'm going to bump it up to a 150 shot and go for an 11 sec slip.

Gotcha. I considered a shot myself and figured if I did it I would go nitrous outlet, or nitrous express but I generally like the nitrous outlet stuff more.

What ideas do you have for dropping weight?

I got a lightweight spare and pulled the bed mat out to save near 100 lbs for daily use. If I take this thing to the track I'll remove the spare and jack, tailgate (for weight not aero) and maybe the rear seats and the plastic bedliner. The truck had a rubber bed mat and plastic bed liner when I got it. Both are fairly heavy. The spare was a steel wheel with a 10 ply mud tire on it that weighed over 50 pounds by itself (the tire).

How long are they holding up to the nitrous and what rpm you taking it up to? Nice rigg, I love some sleepy ****! If my rcsb wasn't camed up like it is I could ruin people. Only downside to the cam... Lol...

The truck was totally full weight when I raced it last. So I figure with the following I can easily drop 500 lbs. That should easily get me into the 11s.

Remove spare tire
Remove tonneau cover
Remove bed mat
Remove tailgate
Remove jack/tools
Remove rear bench seat
Remove weathertech floor mats all around
Swap factory 20" rims for some factory aluminum 17s
Swap duel leather and electric front seat for some cheap race buckets

All of it can be added back pretty easy for daily use.

My truck only has about a dozen nitrous passes in it but there are alot of C7 vette (same motor as the 6.2) guys running 150 shots and the motors are lasting. As long as you dont put to big of a shot through it, pull the proper timing, and watch to make sure your air fuel doesn't get too lean it should be pretty reliable. Nitrous doesn't blow up motors people do.
