They may just have LS6 style ports, and not combustion chambers. Dont the 6.0 HO's have the LS6 style ports with a larger chamber? I thought I had read that somewhere also.

All 6.0 heads are "LS6 style". A real LS6 head has a 65cc combustion chamber and a 6.0 head has a 72 cc chamber.

if you drive the two, there isn't a ton of difference although it is noticable. i think the L33 has alot taken out in the factory program. i'd guess an L33 truck with GT5 and G80 with only programming would run with an SS Silverado.
