Default 2000 LQ4 swap into 1995 gmc questions

Getting set for my first truck engine swap and have a few questions for those who know trucks. I have a 95 GMC K3500 4x4 with the 454 / 4l80e and want to to pull them and put in a 2000 LQ4 6.0 and 4L80e from a 2000 3/4 ton suburban.
First I was hoping to use the transfer case from the 2000 as well, but the burban has push button 4 wheel drive, the 95 has the lever on the floor. Are the transfer cases different or can I put the floor shift lever on the 2000 transfer case? If not will the 95 transfer case bolt up to the 2000 4L80e? I understand the push button system locks the front diff, does that mean the 2000 transfer case is in full time 4 wheel drive all the time?
