I can't believe the gas prices here either. It's over $2.30 for 91. I haven't driven my Camaro since the gas prices started to sky rocket. I've also been holding out on my 91 octane Nelson tune, because I don't want to have to put 91 in my truck, cuz I drive it everyday. I'm just gonna wait till election time when the gas prices will drop. Hmmmm.

Don't we own Iraq now? So where the hell is my $1.09 100 octane?!?
I read the editorial in this month's Super Chevy, and they're encouraging people with gas guzzle old cars/muscle cars to hold out on cruizing, racing and showing this summer. It's the hit 'em where it hurts attitude. Good idea but I don't see it cathing on.

...and I was upset about my $43 fillups once a week. Gas isnt near as expensive here as it is for some of you guys. ~$1.89/gal for 93oct.

I really wouldnt blame Bush I would blame opec and the damn rag heads that sit on thier making all of this money. They should cut the tax on gas since it is sky rocketing. Also what ever happened to e85. I have one pump sittig next to my parking lot but it's more expensive then gas. I thought it was going to be cheaper. I know you get less out of it in MPG but the gas is getting totally ridiculous.

I'm sure a few US based oil companies/refineries are doing pretty ok too.

from what I understand, at least in CA, we use very little opec oil.

That's ridiculous! Didn't know gas had shot up so high since we left in early March. Rag heads are boning us! We'll have to go send them a very clear message!

That's my 4-person fire team blazing away! Where's the machine guns, flame throwers, etc when you need them!

really wouldn't be worth it. i remember people back in the 70's who did that when the gas prices rose. everyone was goin out and buying hondas, but the new car payment comes out being alot more than the extra gas your paying for. well, with some calculations we did at work 30 yrs ago.

With gas prices steadily rising around here, I'm glad I got the diesel. Only costs me about 35 bucks to fill up
