175 (crank) shot on stock fuel pump and injectors?
#1
Just wondering how many people have sprayed a 175 (crank) shot on there stock fuel pump and stock injectors? I know magic chicken has just trying to get some input. I plan on doing this, this year. If you have done this what was your injector duty cycle ? I have no tune so I was just wondering if I would be ok as well. Plan on running 62/35 jets.

Wet shot or dry. With a wet I would think you would be fine as long as you used the appropriate fuel jet. There is no way you would keep that motor together with a 175 dry with stock injectors and fuel pump. Unless that is your plan.

My theory is, isnt there guys on here running a 150 shot from NX that is rated at the tires on stock fuel pump and injectors ?
If that is the case then a 175 (crank) shot would be equilivant to a 125 rwhp shot. Correct ?

. I thought most jets were rated at the rear wheels. Im definately not a nitrous expert, but I would think that a 175 fwhp jet would be about 140-150 so that is still quite a bit but many have done it. As long as you log it and there is no detonation and there is a good A/F ratio you should be good. If you dont have a wideband, I would definately get it on a dyno to check out the A/F. Keep us updated.

You think 2 bottles sprayed through it will be ok with some octane booster?
I plan on spraying a bottle to do some logs and a bottle at the track.

Hold on tight when you hit it, it's a heck of a jolt, better have tires too or you'll just go up in smoke!
What could your truck run the 1/4 with the 125 shot?
