Hold on tight when you hit it, it's a heck of a jolt, better have tires too or you'll just go up in smoke!

What could your truck run the 1/4 with the 125 shot?
I could have probably ran a 13.2-12.8

crazycutter: Did you run that 12.6 with the 170 rwhp shot or the 220 shot ?

I was running 13.1 with the 62/35 jets. Ran 12.6 once with about a 180 shot. Then went to a 200 shot and broke a piston.
Can't wait to spray the hell out of this new motor!

If that is the case then a 175 (crank) shot would be equilivant to a 125 rwhp shot. Correct ?
I have stock a stock fuel pump and injectors and I run a 100 shot and sometimes and 125 with no problem. I have a Nelson tune with about 32* of timing at WOT. I run the fuel jets one jet richer though. I tried a regular 150 shot(not rich) and got audible detonation. Put some good gas in there and I think you're fine with stock tuning.

That was with a 170 dual stage shot, nos dry 70 shot off the line & tnt wet 100 shot about the 40ft mark.

You think 2 bottles sprayed through it will be ok with some octane booster?

I plan on spraying a bottle to do some logs and a bottle at the track.
I run a 175 shot w/ a dedicated fuel cell. I've seen guys running a 200 shot w/ a stock pump and get away w/ it and I've seen guys waste their motors on a 150 shot. If you keep your a/f around 12.5/1 on the juice it should be ok but consider this. When you tap into the line to feed the wet kit you're robbing fuel that was meant for the cylinders. Can your stock pump handle this? I think most of them will but some don't. A good rule of thumb is to upgrade the fuel system for anything over a 100 shot. I did and I've got well over 80 nitrous passes on a 5.3 w/ 62,000 on it.

Is your truck extended cab?
Have you logged it when spraying the 62/35 jets ?
If so, what was the a/f and injector duty cycle?

Chingon: what kind of kit do you have? one rated at the tires ?

Greysilver: Yea I understand what you are saying about the fuel pump.
I think I may get away with it once. I am just trying to break into a mid 12.
That 175 shot you have is rated at the crank correct ?

It's an NX wet kit. I believe they rate their shots at the wheels.

yep NX rates at the rear wheels so you go ahead and spray that 175 whp shot on that bottom end and let me know how it works out i would not do more than a 125 on stock injectors and fuel pump but this is my daily driver if this is dead then so am i some people may disagree with me and that is ok but i would definately upgrade fuel pump and injectors before i started going to far with the ole engine cleaner
