wow thats the inside info i needed a long time ago. well do you think the ls6 springs should help with the float. what gas were you running that day?

they would help but you can do better. i have the patriot golds and they seem to be doing well so far. especialy for the price. seems like i was running strait 118octane when i went to crank it up but i wasn't able to get that much more power because the wheel spin kicked in.

edit, we probably would have been fine with 100octane. i was hopeing to push it much harder than we were able to.

gatcha well the springs are installed and heads are on i did that before i left i tell you what taking the stock ls1 springs out was easy but putting the ls6 spring in were a bitch all we could find was the spring compreesor that you have to pull up on to compress instead of the spiffy easy one that it says to use in the book. the ls6 spring deffinatly have a lot more spring to them thats for sure.

Hey guys, I was completely wrong on the 1bar MAP thing and sliding the scale. Seems that the stock GM MAP reads 0v at 10kpa and 5v at 110kpa, which is why the offset of +10 kpa works. They are mechanically limited as Jim thought.

Thats what I thought, but I didn't want to say anything and risk looking stupid incase you knew something I didn't lol.

Its all good, though, at least you were man enough to admite when you miss understood how some thing worked
