off topic I know , but if you don't have a cut-out and your spraying 200 through a single muffler, you are leaving power on the table. Sometimes ls1tech has better responses to techie questions like this, good luck.

My opinion, but for the price of 1.8 rockers you can just about get a new cam ground with the extra lift...sure it's a bit more work than just swapping rockers, but you could sell your old cam and make some money back, which would actually make it cheaper than buying rockers. Not sure what springs that you're currently running, but they'll obviously have to accommodate the added lift. Also, how well do your heads flow? If the port job isn't very healthy, the rockers or cam will essentially be a waste. As Comp said, it's your call...

if you do decide on new rockers, be sure to check the swipe pattern on the valve tip...

*EDIT* this is also off topic, but I've been considering that cam (or one that's very similar) for my eventual LQ9...I thought that the specs were 224/230 .581/.588 114...

Don't think I'd worry about .003" difference between the two. That's just from variation in the manufactoring. Obviously still within tolerances.
