Default 05' ecsb Z71 5.3L into the 13's???

I got an 05' ecsb silverado Z71 with the 5.3L and I would like to achieve 1/4 mile times of at least the high 13's without forced induction or spray. Is it possible? If so, what mods will I need to get there?

So does anyone else agree with me getting into the 13's with:

Tune
Longtube headers
Big cam
3000+ stall

If so, how big of a cam are we talking about?

I'd like to run 13's down the road when the mods are done and im thinking of a TR 220/220 112lsa cam with 3000 stall

IMO, if you don't use it to pull anything, I would:

Tune
CAI
U D pulley
Pacesetter LT's w/ory
Texas-Speed 224r cam
Edge or Yank 3600 stall and corvette servo
4.10 gears (if you wanna go thru with the work on both axles)
and, 4x launch it! lol

No I believe you will need more if you want 13's all day long anytime of the year. Those mods would do it in good air but depending on where you live it needs alot more. I would use a power adder instead of going strictly NA.

you must have some torque "low end" if you want to run some good numbers at the track, if staying n/a i would definately go with a 3800-4000 converter.... you will be disapointed if you go smaller...

CAI,
tune,
headers, catless y, and good exhaust
224 to a 228 cam
3600-4000 stall
tune
4.10 gears

Launch that thing in 4hi and hopefully call it a day. And if that doesn't work get some nitrous... then you will def. be in the 13's if not lower
