Default '05 Avalanche questions

I'm wondering, is there are any "free mods" for my girls '05 Avalanche 1500 5.3L 2wd?
She wants exhaust on it so I'm gonna have the exhaust y'd for her with no muffler and some tips. Also, there are some tuners locally that can do her truck so I'm gonna let one of them tweak the computer. The truck just gets used to haul the kids around and pull my cars every once in awhile. The truck is stock as a rock right now. I don't want to get crazy with it, just simple basic stuff or she'll cut off my nuts

Any advice?

Welcome, glad to see another AV around here, even if it's your girls.

How about a homemade cold air? (4"hole in the botom of the airbox) TB coolant by-pass if your not in a very cold climate.
