03 escalade rear gears, what are they?

I recently inherited an 03 escalade
what are the rear gears in this behemoth anyway?
any cam recommendations?

I'd bet they are 3.73s, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

You can go wrong throwing a comp 212/218 in there. You would keep some low end for the heavy weight and open up the upper rpms at the same time.

In 02, 3.73's were the only gears available, but in 03, 4.10's were either standard or optional... I'm not sure.

I looked at an 03 this morning. It has code GT4 listed in the glove box - 3.73s. 4.10s will show up as GT5.
