Default '00 LQ4 question

Will an 99-00 LQ4 block bolt up to a a tranny off a 99 5.3 1500 4x4. I believe its a 4l60e, correct? I know it has fitment issues on '01 and up trannies because of the longer crank but I wasn't sure on the 99's

No the lq4 in 99 2000 had a longer crank, it will only fit the 4l80e trans. Unless you buy a custom torque converter.

m8w6r77, Yeah if you switch the flexplates and be sure the spacer pops out.

it's the flex plate and the crank spacer . . . the "spacer" is extra material that was left on there. You can get an 01 and up crank and swap it out.

that was my problem I bought was told the 6.0 I was buying was an 01 but it has the spacer like the one in the pic. Whick isn't removable so its an 99-00 because it also has the iron heads
