Default yank torque converter and fires?

as most of you know my truck caught fire a couple of weeks ago. i thought it was a tranny fire but its not looking that way. the tranny line were all good and the fluid was nice and red. with all this being said should i trust the yank torque converter that was in it or should i get a new one? should i try and see if they can pull it apart and look at it to make sure its good? i don't know what they would charge to do this. i pulled it off the tranny and the fluid was red but the tc itself wasn't red anymore it was pink and had a small amount of black suit on it from the fire. should i just say screw it and get another or what?

If the internals weren't affected then it should be fine but getting it flushed wouldn't hurt any.

Why don't you call Yank and ask him? If the seal isn't damaged and the heat from the fire didn't get to the converter, I don't see why you'd need to do anything to it?
