yank 3000 stall
#2
I have the tt3000 with a 5.3 drives nearly like stock.
as far as offroad goes I dunno, but you should be fine with the 4.8 and the 6.0 depending on what you do with it. I know the forced induction guys like a lower stall.
I personally would like to get a higher stall while I have my tranny apart.

If you've never driven in a stalled car/truck i would take a ride in one first. it's a bit different that's for sure. Lotta noise off idle and not much movement and then it picks up after that...just different. Switch from 4.8 to a 6L will push through the verter more.
