Yeah, I would stay away from heating them. If I am doing it poor man style, I like cutting some off the stock spring. I like the added stiffness...sometimes heating them can be tricky to get them to go down evenly, as well as keeping the spring from bowing in a certain spot. To each his own though...

I would like to lower mine another inch, but due to time constraints with putting in a 4l80, I think I am going to do spring clamps for the Power Tour.

As far as ride quality, what would be the best kit (parts) to lower the truck 3/5?
