Default Would like to go an inch lower.

I have the ground force 2/4 lowering kit. Any way of lowering it another inch instead of having to buy another whole kit. I have the front coils and rear leaf spring set up. I think it is part #9993. Also why is ground force lowering kits so expensive. Are they that much better than everybody else. I bought the truck with the kit already installed.

How new is the kit? It will settle some more if it is brand new, otherwise for an inch I would remove 1 leaf and heat the coils just a little. That little bit shouldn't hurt.

The kit is about 3 months old and 2500 miles.

See if you can get a little longer shackle for the rear, and heating the coils will work. Just let the coils cool down naturally, don't quench them.

How about ride quality if I heat the coils. Will it be any different than what I have now. Back to one of my original questions concerning ground force, why are they so much more than the others?

Yours springs will get effectively stiffer if you collapse the top coil. If you plan to try this make sure to keep the ends of the spring square. Also depending on where the spring sits on the control arm, you may get more drop than the amount you collapse the coil. I think rear leaf springs cost more than a hanger/shackle drop kit.

Start dating fat chicks? That should at least make the whole passenger side sit down an inch.

Hey! Fat chicks need love too, someone's gotta do the deed.

Fock a bunch of heating coils. Just sell your front coils, buy some 3" coils and put a shackle kit out back. Or start dating fat chicks.
