Well my transmission issues continue to line up and kick me in the nuts one after the other.
I haven't had any fires lately which I suppose is good.
However, I went to finally go drive the truck and it's stuck in gear. I check the transmission fluid and it's reading high already. I've had this problem before with the reading being off so I add a bit more fluid and suddenly the problems go away.
What I can't understand, is why is my transmission fluid level reading so high?
I'm checking it on a level surface with the trans temperatures anywhere from 80*-180* with the same results.
It's reading almost an inch above the "hot" line. When I add fluid, the problem goes away.
Anyone have any tips? I've literally checked it 30 different ways and it reads the same.
Oh and trans specs are:
vacuum mod
Borg Warner 3-4 clutch pack with kolene steels
Reenforced input drum
beast sunshell
hd-2 shift kit
larger stator shaft
corvette servo
29 element sprag
bushings and bearing have been replaced
and several other things I'm neglecting.
I was hoping something in the list might have something to do with it.
EDIT-I have also tried my other dipstick so I know it's not the dipstick

Hell yeah, plus the fluid gets all streaked down the stick and throws me off so im like WTF! Wipe it off dip it again and try to get a better reading. Its almost like the fluid is invisibly clear lol
