My 4l60e just broke after 2000 miles with 9lbs of boost with only 14000 miles on the truck. I tow 3,000lb trailer on a daily basis and like to pass people at WOT so I guess it was just a matter of time.

It's a matter of investment! For about the same money as an all out 60 you can build a heavy duty 80 that should be the last trans you put in it.
