That's good to hear. I have my converter set to never lock under WOT which I am hoping will help a little even though it will hurt my MPH on the track. Hopefully this trans is as strong as they say it is.

You guys certainly do put he 60/65e through the ringers and I too wish you all had 4l80e transmissions. Which IMO is the way GM should have made them. But we sponsors do everything we can to build the strongest 4l60e possible for you. Remember it cost us a good chunk when you break them also lol.
But there are many reasons that people don't swap to the 80e particularly 4x4 guys what a night mare.
I know when we see failures we look at then very carefully to see if theres anything we could have done better or a better part available to avoid them in the future. That our job to try and figure out every possible weak link and fix it if we can.
One thing I can say guys is that locking the converter during shifts is a no no way to much stress in even a car much less a truck.
We have trucks in the 11s even some claimed 10s though they are not verified and we don't post anything without a video or time sheet to prove it.
But if theres one thing I can say about our transmissions while we do every thing we can to avoid any failure if one comes we are there to take care of it.
And of note of course we are always watching a 4l60e in the low 11s or 10s makes for great advertising lol when its in a 5000 plus pound truck all the better lol.
