Vette servo, tru cool 40,000 gvwr cooler, both found on eBay. Trans doesn't need to be removed for hd2 shift kit, servo or trans cooler.

Do a search on here, there are a few threads with good parts lists. I would post up a link, but I am posting from my PDA and it would take 20 min to dig the thread up from it.

I have the shift kit, stock TC, vette servo, and the 4th ply servo. I also replaced the three accumulators with pinless accumulators, all of the solenoids (1-2, 2-3, 3-4, PCS, PWM, TCC, and the in pan wiring harness), and replaced the seperator plate and check *****. I went with the highest capacity Hayden trans cooler I could get as well.

I had a P0748 code and my diagnostics for the problem led me to the pressure control solenoid (PCS). I also had a P1870 code (once). My TC wasn't locking up correctly either at about the time I got the P1870 code. Figuring I was going to be inside the pan, I chose to do as much as I could while I was in there (including replacing the filter). Truck had 109k on it so I was just trying to do some preventative maintenance.

Truck shifts great now in all gears (you can definitely feel the difference) and the TC locks up when it's supposed to. The vette servo firms up the 1-2 shift tremendously. It's well worth the money (~$18 including shipping) and easy to install. With the trans cooler my temps run about 10 to 20 degrees lower than before. The shift kit takes time, you need to read the instructions thorougly, and don't get in a hurry. If it takes to two days to get it right, take it.

All this was done without taking the trans out. Putting in a higher stall TC would be a different story.

Ive got the vette servo, 40k cooler, upped line pressure via efilive and have changed the trans fluid twice with only 45k miles on it. Shifts great and is still holding up.
