HOLY SH*T. I think you guys may have fixed my problem!!! It's dark now so I can't get a look at them until tomorrow, but here's the scoop...

About 2 months ago I was in an accident, a partial rollover to be precise. I skidded off the road, caught a ditch and rolled onto the driver side. Pretty much the door caught a big mound of dirt and took all the impact with pretty damn minimal damage for a rollover. Anyhow, 3 weeks later I get it out of the shop and I got this terrible creaking sound. It only happens when I brake. It pulsates like squeaky brakes would do and goes "err, err, err" slower and slower until I come to a halt. The repair shop told me it was a warped rotor and dragging caliper which I haven't gotten around to changing yet so I've been driving with this sound for about a month now.

But after reading this thread I'm very eager to check out these cables as it would make pretty perfect sense. I'll let you guys know, thanks!

My 03 RCSB sometimes makes a little pop noise right when I come to a stop or right when I begin to accelerate. It has done since the truck was new.

Well i had the driver side mount replaced yesterday and no noise for now but if it does come back off go the cables. As far as the leaf springs I had to have mine replaced because they were making a very loud squeaky noise.
