Default what size slick?

I am runin a 28x10.5-15 now on a 15x8 wheel. I found a set of 29.5x9x15's today and wanted some input from you guys on what size slick should I run. mods is sig plus 3.73/eaton soon. The 28's gave me the times in the sig. my fronts are 275/45/20's at 29.7" tall.
thanks

I think 26's are too short. I got the 28's for a bill but they have dry rot in places and they leak. I got m/t tubes but need to drill the valve stem hole out on my wheels just a hair for the tube's valve to go thru it. I just wanted to get some ideas/opinoins before I spend any more time or money.

nope...even with 410s 26" work fine. as long as your motor can turn rpms run the best tire/gear ratio to put you near peak hp true the traps.
going to large on tire will hurt ET. some will say the taller tire helps traction, i 60' better in the past with 26" over 28"... setting up truck and learning how to drive is a big part of 60's

I see you point, I just thought 26's were for cars and 28 up were for truck apps with no weight dist. The 28's are to wide, I want to go to a 9 inch wide tire. I found some for $100 but they are 29.5's. I will look into the 26's.
thanks
