in the world of the 60/65E i figure rossler to the the king and i'd say chuck at FLP is working hard on catching their numbers. 700hp in front of a 60/65E might be done in a 3200LB vehicle, but in a truck at well over 4,000lbs failure will come on a regular basis.

I dont know about 700hp, that may be 4l80e territory. If hes talking about a 65, he should also mension 5 pinion planetaries. Just for reference here is a list of parts in my 65:

* New Bushings
* GM Internal Wiring Harness
* GM Solenoids & Switches
* Gm 5 Pinion Front & Rear Planet Assemblies
* Seals, Gaskets, Filter

* High Performance Output Pump Slide Spring
* Borg/Warner 29 Element Forward Sprag
* Steelx.500 Boost valve
* Wide Red Band, Performance Lining
* "Z" Pack- 15 Element 3-4 Clutches High Performance Application
* "Beast" Heavy Duty Shell w/ Bearings & Wide Bushing in Reaction Gear*
* HP Forward & Overun Clutches
* Borg Warner Low Reverse Clutches
* TransGo HD-2 Shift Kit
* Corvette Servo
* Metal(Aluminum) Accumulator Piston
* TransGo Seperator Plate
* Hardened Pump Rings
* Sonnax 4th Gear "Super Hold" Dual Servo
* Wide sungear bushing

i went to a jag performance 80e and it is working fine. i went thru two 65e built trannies before this one. and i was only putting out 436 hp to the wheels with nos. i think it is a weight thing mostly.
