So, one of the major reasons I'm selling the cam I bought is because I just don't think it will work on the stock stall. I did buy a CircleD 11" 3000-3200 stall but it's not really a performance stall. It's like the Yank tt3000. I was told it would lower my 1/4th by .2 or .3 . So I figure if I'm going to do a converter I might as well do it right. I think I remember Parish saying the best bang for bucks was the 6.0 swap, converter, and nitrous. I still think a converter will work well with the stock cam. I want a converter than doesn't drop a lot of RPM's on the shifts.
Is there any real reason for me to go with a triple disk over a single disk in the 300-400rwhp range?

I am running a triple disc 3000 stall Vig in my truck right now, drives like stock until you mash the throttle....then hold on!
My previous converter was a single disc 2800 stall Vig, and I have to say the lock up on the triple disc feels much stronger, shakes the whole truck. When I went to the 3000 stall with my new built trans, my ET's dropped almost .4 in the 1/4 mile.......

So the 3000 isn't loose at all? I've read that Vig stalls are underrated...like the 3200 is more like a 3600 yank.
How much would my Et drop with a 3200 vig triple disk? Also, is yours 10.5" or 9.5"

so should I get the 9.5 or 10.5"? Also, circleD 9.5" is also an option.
I want to go 12s on the stock cam - can it be done?.
Does the rpms drop down a lot on the tt3000? My big problem is the 2-3 shift it drops down to like 3800 rpms and just dies.
