How much would my Et drop with a 3200 vig triple disk? Also, is yours 10.5" or 9.5"
Mine is a 10.5", and since you still use your truck as a truck I wouldn't recommend going any smaller then this size converter. The best I have been able to stall mine to is 2700 before it started to roll and over power the brakes. I will see if I can get a video of mine today........

if you are having to think about it this hard, then might as well get the triple disk for a peace of mind... i personally would go with a 3600-4000 triple disk, if you want performance....

I have a PI Vig Triple disk 2800, works great. I havent had it to the track since putting it in but It feels a hell of a lot better. Its DD friendly, you know its there but no problems with city driving.

I'm thinking I should go with the Vig 10.5" triple disk 3000 stall ( I thjink that 's the highest they can stall in a 10.5")_

From what I understand there is a little more parasitic loss with the 10.5 than the 9.5. There is more mass for the engine to have to spin therefore resulting in loss of horsepower to the rear wheels. I can't imagine that there is a lot of loss but there would be some. I have a vig 3200 triple disk and tow with it all the time and the only real issue is the trans temps are a little hotter that I would like to see, like 180 when I really demand a lot of the trans. Maybe the 10.5 would create less heat but I don't really know.

The larger the stall the more heat you will create, so if you don't already have some sort of trans cooler I would recommend getting one. Even if you aren't having an issue with trans temps now a cooler really is cheap insurance.

This is what I wanted to hear!

So you tow just fine with a 9.5" Vig triple disk. Where does your 3200 stall at? Also, how many RPM's does it drop on the shifts? That's a big deal to me.

My stall is almost a perfect 3200 stall. From a dead stop if I stab it the RPMs shoot up to around 3100-3200. I haven't really paid attention to how much it drops during shifts but not a lot. To give you an idea my 0-60 without the stall was around 7 seconds, after the stall its 4.9 secs. To be fair I installed a level 5 trans and long tubes at the same time but the stall help tremendously. Its a triple disk and it locks up hard, jars the whole truck. Hope that helps.

Oh ya, mine is a 10.5" as well. When it locks, you know it. Of course my check ball or whatever it is has been removed from my input shaft ( I forget how that works)

hmm...10.5" vs 9.5"

3000 is the max stall on the 10.5"......it sounds like the 9.5" 3200 is the way to go
