Default TT3000 vs SST3200

I bought a cam (220/220 .563/.563 114+4), I will be installing it next month. So I am to the point where I am deciding on a TC... I have been doing alot of reading on the TT3000 and SST3200. It is my understanding that both will stall a few hundred RPM below the advertised stall rating because my truck is a RC and I have a 4.8, is that true?

Another question is how is the regular driving with the SST3200? I love driving my truck and I don't want it to turn into a pain, my GF also drives my truck every once in awhile and I don't want it to be a pain for her either. I know that the SST3200 it is alot smaller and it hold 2 quarts less fluid so it has the tendency to run alot hotter alot quicker than the TT3000.

What would be the main benefit of the SST3200 over the TT3000?

I have had my SST3200 in for a over a week. This is my first ever stalled truck, must say it isn't that noticable to me at all. The truck still moves fine well bellow 3200, the converter is just as tight as dave from yank, others had told me. I say go for the 3200 and call it a day. One benni from the 3200 would probably be a better 60ft and also the mounting plat is a solid hunk of billit...

Not yet I havn't installed a trans temp gauge. Once I get the 410s in I will try and hit it with a digi temp gun. Also this is still on my stock tune, Im sure once I get tuned for it the driving manners will be even better. But like I said if your going for a verter, go the 3200 if ya can swing the extra money. I am glad I did.

Yup me too I need 10 jobs to support my habit. I don't think you will be disapointed with it, will soon forget the cost of it when your beating on that thing...

Yeah I have not totally decided yet! It kinda snow balled into that. At first I was looking at ~$500, then for a little bit more, then a little bit more, then I am spending X amount whats another 100, then your up to 780.... the LQ9 is just more problems than I want to deal with right now... Besides I am curious to see how my little 4.8 is going to compete with your 6.0

BTW still no word or email yet on my end....
