I bought a cam (220/220 .563/.563 114+4), I will be installing it next month. So I am to the point where I am deciding on a TC... I have been doing alot of reading on the TT3000 and SST3200. It is my understanding that both will stall a few hundred RPM below the advertised stall rating because my truck is a RC and I have a 4.8, is that true?
Another question is how is the regular driving with the SST3200? I love driving my truck and I don't want it to turn into a pain, my GF also drives my truck every once in awhile and I don't want it to be a pain for her either. I know that the SST3200 it is alot smaller and it hold 2 quarts less fluid so it has the tendency to run alot hotter alot quicker than the TT3000.
What would be the main benefit of the SST3200 over the TT3000?

I have had my SST3200 in for a over a week. This is my first ever stalled truck, must say it isn't that noticable to me at all. The truck still moves fine well bellow 3200, the converter is just as tight as dave from yank, others had told me. I say go for the 3200 and call it a day. One benni from the 3200 would probably be a better 60ft and also the mounting plat is a solid hunk of billit...

After I beat around the bush trying to find a used verter, not having any luck on one, I bit the bullit, now I look at it I have never heard a bad thing about a yank, I know that I am not getting one with the **** run out of it. What the hells the extra 120 odd bucks if ya got it no what I mean. I agree it is a bit to swallow, hey ya only live once, make more money tomorrow

Yup me too I need 10 jobs to support my habit.
I don't think you will be disapointed with it, will soon forget the cost of it when your beating on that thing...
