truetrac worked flawless with my 10bolt and 40"s but selectable locker is defanitly the way to go. best of both worlds.
one wheel peel for normal driving then 2 black stips when I lock it.

im running a truetrac the one thing i dont like is sometimes it unlocks when the truck starts to slide sideways like when doing a rolling burnout and ive already blown one up but luckily it was under warranty if this one blows im doing a full locker.

I thought about a full locker also

I really think the eaton LSD is what I'm gonna go with, for the simple fact that its rebuild able and keeps the axles locked together

Ive been watching this close. Im still running the g80 w/3.73s.. I can lock both wheels and keep them locked in till it shuts off at 98.. Now when I try to slide sideways or doughnut, it always kicks out.. I thought I had my heart set on a truetrac, but after hearing it kicked out when sliding sideways, thats what im trying to get rid of now.. Has anybody tried both? Any compairisons?

exact reason Im looking..

the truetrac is the only diff anyone makes for my truck.. so its between that and welding the G80 up.. which I dunno if I want to deal with all that bs of a welded diff

I love my truetrac never had it unlock in a burnout, power slide, doughnut, or when feeling froggy on wet pavement. I have been very impressed with its performance, and smooth engagement. I have had it over a year and have put probably 50k miles on it. I use an amsoil diff fluid that was compatible. Nothing but good remarks about it from me.

EDIT: amsoil fluid used with no friction modifier added.
