Default Tru-Cool 40k fluid question

I installed the TruCool 40k last fall along with the cold weather bypass valve. My question is as its starting to get hot here in Indiana this will be the first time the truck has experienced hot weather with the new cooler, will I need to add fluid since the new cooler holds more fluid than the original cooler, should I have filled the new cooler up with tranny fluid before I installed it?

No need to fill the cooler itself before installation (like you would a torque converter), but considering the size of the cooler and the extra length of hoses for it, I'd recommend checking the trans fluid level and adjusting accordingly. Get the truck up to operating temp and park it on a level service, put it in park or neutral with the e-brake on, and check the fluid level on the dipstick with the engine running It may need a little bit to be spot on, but if you've been driving it this way for a while I doubt that it's very low
