Well that's why I said relatively haha.

Hell, I'm trying to give y'all options and yall just keep bitching lol. The NV3500 isn't the best tranny, so you either live with it or make compromises in some area with an alternative. Just how it is.

My towing and hauling is pretty limited, so I'm gonna be just fine with a T56. I don't haul any vehicles so the most that gets tossed into my truck or behind it is personal stuff from moving apts and what not. You just have to consider what you're doing with your truck and then you can decide the best path to go. I can't stand my current NV3500 from all its whining, clunkiness, and grinding in 5th, so it's coming out as soon as I get all my parts together. And I can't stand putting money into something only to have it do the same thing again down the road, hence why I'm going the 6-spd route.

Forgot to give an update on the tremec 3450 tranny. I have it behind a 5.3 with headers, cai and a lunati 212/218 .533 lift cam. You can power shift 1st to second but you can't when you go to third. Tranny is very smooth and holds up fine to my power. The only bad thing is you can't shift fast into 3rd at high rpms.
