Default Transmission question for a friend.

A guy I know has a Tahoe and when trailering his 7000lb boat it refuses to reverse over wheel stops in his driveway. His old Durango did it with no issues, so whats the deal?
He says he puts it all the way to the floor and it goes nowhere?! No rubber burning or anything!
I told him its probably the computer telling it to cut power to the wheels.
I also told him to quit being so freakin lazy and get out and move the block!!!
Anyone have an idea?

Are the trailer brakes locking up? Our trailer uses a 5 pin harness, one to disengage the brakes when the truck goes into reverse. Maybe he is using a different adapter now?

Does he have the safety pin in the trailer? Some trailers have a trailer brake switch that will engage the trailer brakes when backing up if that pin isn't in to disable it.

The trailer is not locking up the brakes, and I know the HOE is heavier than his Durango was as well. Other than that I'm not really sure what going on with its inability to do what he wants.
I still say "don't be so lazy and get out and move your stop blocks and get on with your life" to him.
Thanks for the feedback guys.
