i put mine in and never had cracked open a automatic before... it really aint that bad.... its a mess tho.....
i put one washer in mine... and shifts hard enough under full throttle to pitch the rear out..... but kinda like u... i'm getting my tune next week so that will help and i'm ordering my converter this week.

you can do it urself.... but i would make sure u have everything.... and follow the directions exact....
