Default transgo and vette servos

i will order this my hd2 shift kit this week along with vette servos.
any ideas on how many washers to put in?
1=street 2=street/strip 3=full race
you think with this ill break traction from 1-2.(3:23 gears)
also how much TM removed with this for DD.

you should def have traction issues. i know i do. and all i put was the 1-2 vette servo. removed around 30 % i believe. its enough on some days it'll break traction in 3rd , but im runnin 4:11's. good luck with it im sure u'll be pleased

You are talking about the accumulator washers right? I wouldn't put any in. Just the transgo alone makes it shift just about as firm and quick as a corvette servo does in a stock transmission. I haven't put a corvette servo in mine yet, I really don't think it will make it any firmer, just increase holding power.

yeah.
well the reason i want to put something firmer is because
now when i shift the shift is firm(boosted line pressure)
but still grips and i feel im beign too harsh on the drivetrain.
so breaking traction would relieve some of that. and sound nice

the vette servo makes a big difference. without a stall I would also not install any washers.

You will want the softest setting for the shift kit, the corvette servo will firm it up enough.
I hear they will shift too hard with washers and a servo

yeah. but i will be getting my tune around march, maybe lower line press. during normal driving.
the problem is i got 3.23's and i shift around 56.
and only a servo wont do the trick.

I have 3.23s and just had my shift kit and servo done..you shouldnt put it on level 3 unless you are going to be running a converter, my tuner put mine on 3 becuz i will be having a converter in like next week. and ya it will spin them on the 1-2 shift...and you should back your line pressure all the way down with the shift kit.

I have a 3000 stall, stock line pressure and a vette servo and about 50% tq management and it'll lay down a good patch 1-2

TM. is that what kills me too.
how much should be reasonable to remove for DD?
would it be fine to remove it all in tow/haul for fun every now and then?
